1. We believe in one True and Living God of the Bible, and that there is a trinity of persons in the Godhead: the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost, and yet there are not three gods, but one God. I John 5:7
2. We believe that the Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments are the inspired Word of God and are the only rule of faith and practice. II Timothy 3:16
3. We believe in the fall of Adam and the imputation of sin to his posterity, in the corruption of human nature, and the impotency of man to recover himself, by his own will and ability. Romans 5:12, 18, 19
4. We believe in the everlasting love of God for His people, and the eternal election of a definite number of the human race to grace and glory, and that there was a covenant of grace and redemption made between the Father and the Son before the world began, in which the salvation of the elect is secure, and that they in particular are redeemed. Ephesians 1:4
5. We believe that sinners are justified in the sight of God only by the imputation of Christ's righteousness to them. Romans 5:9
6. We believe that all who were chosen in Christ will be effectually called, regenerated, sanctified, supported by the Spirit, and the power of God, so that they shall be preserved in Grace, and not one of them shall be finally lost. John 6:37-39
7. We believe that good works are a fruit of faith and follow after regeneration and that they only justify us in the sight of men and angels and are evidence of our gracious state. Galatians 5:22
8. We believe that the Church of Christ is a local body of professing and baptized believers who have, upon public confession of their faith in Christ, gained Christian fellowship with each other and have given themselves up to the Lord, agreeable to the rules of the Gospel and is the highest and only ecclesiastical authority known to the Word of God. Ephesians 2:19 - 22
9. We believe that Jesus Christ is the great Head of the Church, and her only lawgiver, and that the government and administration of the ordinances is with the Church herself, and is the privilege of each member, that the discipline cannot be legally extended beyond her own Scriptural jurisdiction, and is intended for the reclamation or exclusion of those members who may become disorderly, either in principle or practice, and must be faithfully kept up for God's glory and the peace and fellowship of the churches. I Corinthians 5:11-13
10. We believe that there will be a resurrection of the dead, a general judgment, and that the happiness of the righteous and the punishment of the wicked will be eternal. Matthew 25:31-46
11. We believe that baptism and the Lord's Supper and washing of the saint's feet are ordinances of Jesus Christ, and that true believers are the only subjects of the ordinances, and that the true mode of baptism is immersion. Matthew 3:16, John 13:4,5
12. We believe that no minister has the right to the administration of any of the ordinances, except such as are called and come under the hands of the presbytery. I Timothy 4:14
